Relationships hold the emotional history of both partners, and when patterns become strained, the space between you can feel confusing, reactive or painful. In couples counselling, I offer a structured, confidential and attuned environment where both partners can speak openly, listen fully, and begin to understand the dynamics shaping the relationship. This work focuses on the real conversations that need to happen - the ones that reveal how each of you protects yourselves, what you fear, what you long for, and how your histories influence the way you relate.

Together, we explore communication habits, emotional triggers, attachment needs, boundaries and unmet expectations. These patterns are rarely conscious; they are often inherited, learned or shaped during earlier life. By bringing them into awareness, we begin to unravel the cycles that keep you stuck - the withdrawals, the defensiveness, the blaming, the shutting down or the reaching out that misses the mark.

As we move through the process, you will learn how to express yourselves with more clarity, regulate your emotions during difficult moments, understand each other’s signals, and repair ruptures with care. My approach is practical and emotionally grounded, blending psychological insight with a deep respect for the tender nature of relationship work. I support you to move from reactivity to responsiveness, from misunderstanding to connection, and from survival mode to a more conscious, secure way of being together.

Couples counselling is suitable for partners navigating conflict, disconnection, intimacy difficulties, communication issues, betrayal, life transitions, parenting pressures, or the desire to strengthen and evolve the relationship. It is also a safe and thoughtful space for couples moving through a conscious uncoupling, where respect, understanding and emotional clarity are essential.

My work uniquely blends talking therapy, my own mindscaping, functional medicine, cutting edge genetic testing, and natural holistic solutions to whatever ails you. I help people understand how their nervous system, body, thoughts, emotions, and relationships are connected - and how these patterns shape health, behaviour, and connection over time.

Many of the people I work with have complex or long-standing challenges. They may be living with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, OCD, trauma, chronic stress, complex health issues, neurodivergence, relationship difficulties, or patterns that seem to repeat across generations. Rather than looking at one piece in isolation, I work with the whole picture.

This is gentle, collaborative work. We move at a pace that feels safe and manageable, working with your system rather than pushing it. Whether we are working one-to-one or with couples and families, my role is to help you understand yourself more clearly, feel more regulated and supported, and find a way forward that truly fits you.
